Numerous flocks of wild pigeons have passed over the town, during the past week, almost invariably pursuing a course directly East and West. The flocks were not very large, and we have not heard of their roosting anywhere in this vicinity. The "old folks" say that their passage is the fore-runner of succeeding cold weather, near at hand.
