Wild pigeons have been unusually plentiful with us this spring. Large numbers have been shot and caught, and, they have been offered to our citizens at $1 per dozen. A flock settled down in one of our town gardens last Friday, but they left before giving our hunters a chance at them. Our typographical force went out last Saturday to "play havoc and let loose the dogs of war" among them and returned after a hard days work with 0-0-0. Bully.
