Innumerable multitudes of wild pigeons were passing over the town of Piqua, in Ohio, the first week in January. The editor of the Piqua paper estimates that one flock was 30 miles in length; they were observed in every direction as far as they eye could reach, obscuring the atmosphere, and making a noise like a strong rush of wind.
